There’s an old adage that says, “If you’re always ready, then you don’t have to get ready,”and representatives with Expert Heavy Equipment say the company is all set for what industry experts predict to be an increased demand for used heavy equipment for 2014.
“As a woman entrepreneur in a male-dominated industry, understanding the market trends and forecasts will be instrumental in positioning our company for continued growth and success,” said Milissa Wise, Director of Operations and Owner of Expert Heavy Equipment.
When it comes to demand on a global scale, the International Energy Agency estimates that the coal industry will expend by an average of 2.3 percent per year through 2018.
The slow recovery in the coal industry, the agency predicts, is likely to increase the demand for heavy construction equipment along with the strong outlook for China’s demand for iron ore.
Expert Heavy Equipment is the most competitive wholesaler of used heavy construction equipment.
Emerging markets including Latin America and Asia-Pacific will lead demand with construction of commercial buildings, infrastructure, power plants and oil refineries.
According to Reportlinker, market growth in terms of sales of excavators, loaders and cranes is forecast to accelerate through 2015.
Developed nations are expected to lead demand for equipment, with North America expected to show close to 7 percent yearly growth in the five-year period ending 2015, according to Freedonia.
In addition, the US market, according to Freedonia, will be driven by residential construction spending gains, as the construction sector rebounds following the 2007 to 2010 downturn.
Demand in Mexico is also forecast to grow in the same period.
Expert Heavy Equipment, according to Wise, offers true wholesale pricing on all of its heavy equipment, and is one of the only companies that implement a policy of transparency by providing market data that validates fair market values on equipment and vehicles.
“We will ensure that we will have the lowest prices on high demand equipment,” Wise said. “Our goal is to become a leading provider for used heavy construction equipment, internationally.”
