Tracks need adjusting? Here are 3 easy steps:
1. Swing the boom around to the side of the machine in which the tracks need to be adjusted. Lower the boom down to where the bucket is resting on the ground. Lift the machine to where the tracks on that side are completely off the ground.
2. If the tracks are dirty or caked with dirt or mud, run the tracks several times to clean everything out to where you can clearly see the track pads.
3. The grease within the adjuster cylinder maintains the track tension. To tighten the track, apply grease to the grease fitting in the small hole on the track frame which is located near the idler pulley. To loosen the tracks, use a wrench to carefully loosen the fitting and release grease.
