Effective January 2021, Expert Heavy Equipment (EHE) made the decision to change their equipment intelligence resource to Rouse Services. Over the most recent years, Rouse has positioned themselves as the gold standard for data intelligence on heavy equipment.
As summarized on a recent blog post from Ritchie Bros, “Rouse uses industry-leading software to collect and analyze fleet and transactional data to build a very strong point of view of where the equipment market is on any particular machine. This gives Rouse a deep understanding of where the marketplace is at in terms of secondary market pricing and real-time equipment rental activity.”
Ritchie Bros finalized their acquisition of Rouse Services in January 2021. This merger will only strengthen the accuracy and real-time values on used equipment.
Milissa Wise, Owner of EHE, confirms this will only strengthen the company’s position as one of the only resellers that offers accurate and true pricing transparency. Wise explained that there is not a standardized resource for assessing the value of heavy construction equipment available to end buyers and sellers. Most individual buyers and sellers become dependent on the appraiser, dealership or auction house to provide them with a value, which can be subjective. EHE spends thousands of dollars annually for a subscription to Rouse Services. EHE is transparent in pricing by including Rouse data when both buying and selling. This gives the sellers and clients alike the confidence they need to know they are getting the best price possible.
